In 2009, Lee Seung-gi and 34-tear-old actress Han Hyo-joo co-starred alongside each other in K-drama: Brilliant Legacy, where the two quickly became good friends. However, years later in 2020, fans were shocked to find out that the two were still as close as before after both being part of variety show: Hometown Flex.
After fans wondering if romance was the reason for the shockingly long friendship, Lee Seung-gi quickly cleared up the confusion by stating that the closeness between the two was simply due to being part of the same friend group.

The King 2 Hearts is a 2012 romance K-drama, starring none other than Lee Seung-gi and 42-year-old actress Ha Ji-won, an individual that many actors wish to one day work with. One year later, the actress attended an interview where she asked about what it was like to work with Lee Seung-gi. Due to the chemistry their characters held with one another; fans were hoping that it would be the same in real life. Once again, this talented actor obtained another lead role with beautiful 31-year-old actress and model Go Ara, in 2014 romance K-drama: You’re all surrounded. The two don’t seem to be very close in real life, however, in the show their interactions were undeniably adorable!
The two shared a kiss scene and although fans thought it was incredibly sweet, they couldn’t help but laugh after the actor apologised to Go Ara for “having a big nose”.
IU
IU, known as South Korea’s sweetheart, is a 27-year-old singer, songwriter and actress who once again melted everyone’s heart after releasing a song with Lee Seung-gi (I Give You My Heart) and performing it. The two looked adorable together and their voices blended perfectly, causing fans to ship the two singers together.
